Comprehensive Therapy Services

Laugh and Learn Autism Therapy. The most effective and progressive treatment using research-based therapeutic practices. We provide customized therapy tailored to each client’s specific needs.  Our services focus on using clients’ motivation to develop meaningful and fun activities to teach skills and change behavior.

Effective treatment for autism and those with complex communication needs often involves a combination of therapeutic strategies, each targeting a different set of skills that support a child's development.  Teaching skills in the natural environment lends to increased opportunities to practice functional skills across a variety of contexts experienced in everyday life.

ABA Programs

We develop individual programs for each Laugh and Learn Autism Therapy Therapy client.

Programs involve the following:

  • Determining the skills and evaluating the difficulties of the child
  • Knowing the goals and objectives, for example, learning how to say ‘hello’
  • Assessing how often a behavior takes place
Clinic-Based ABA Therapy

Laugh and Learn Autism Therapy offers customized program development for autistic individuals ages 2-21. The first step in developing an individualized program is conducting an initial assessment to determine your child’s specific strengths, needs, and interests. Using the results of the initial assessment, a treatment plan is developed. The treatment plan outlines important strategies to aid in your child’s success. A behavior intervention plan (BIP) if warranted, and goals to address specific skill deficits identified in the assessment.

How many hours are needed?

The number of hours needed to ensure the best possible client outcomes is determined by what the clinician believes is medically necessary after completing the assessment process. Most recommendations include between 10-40 hours of direct therapy, depending on the individual client’s needs.  The number of direct therapy hours is decreased as the client gains skills and meets the criteria outlined in the client’s treatment plan.
